The products are effective, but I would advise a slow start, particularly with the retinol. My skin is not particularly sensitive, but I experienced quite a lot of redness, and then came the peeling. So what I did was to lay off using the retinol in the reddish areas until my skin calmed down and became more accustomed to the product. You should expect quite a bit of peeling, too. My dermatologist recommended using these 2 products and said they are good for our skin (not just my skin but for all of ours).
