Breast Cancer Survivor, Obagi Ambassador, and Role Model.

“Most of us feel better when we look our best and needless to say, I had not looked my best in quite some time. The after effects of chemo and radiation had truly dried my skin and I really needed something to pep me up.  At a family gathering, my sister and niece were talking about Obagi.  They both used it, and suggested I give it a try. With the seed planted, I went to see Dr. Beautiful (yes, that’s her real name) in Fayetteville and asked if Obagi was for me.”

“She and her staff took time to explain and demonstrate each product. Sold, I walked out of her office with a bag of Obagi products in my hands and a smile on my face as I knew that in a short amount of time my skin would be better than ever. After a few weeks, my skin improved tremendously. Obagi helped give me back my self confidence.  So much so, I took the leap and entered the Obagi Ambassador Sweepstakes.”

“When I found out I was selected, I yelled, ‘I can’t believe it—I won!’ You would have thought I won the lottery, and I was all smiles and bubbly. It was truly an amazing experience, and I felt like the most special person in the world. I was floating on cloud nine, and absolutely couldn’t wait to tell my parents, sister and son. When I called Dr. Beautiful, she was absolutely overjoyed for me—she even made me the center of attention at her open house. Everybody was so pleased for me and I almost got a ‘big head’ from all the compliments on my skin. Even with the magnificent results I have had, I still can’t believe it’s real!”

“As part of being selected, Obagi is making a donation in my name to the charity of my choosing. For everything they’ve done to work towards a cure for breast cancer, I chose Susan G. Komen for the Cure®. Founded in 1982, they have invested nearly $2 billion for breast cancer research, education, advocacy, health services and social support programs in the U.S., and through partnerships in more than 50 countries. As a recipient of their efforts, I am thrilled to give back.  If you’d like to contribute as well, please connect with them here. Thank you.”
