Sales Representative – Therapeutic Dermatology - Dallas Texas This position will represent the Obagi System to targeted customers within a designated geographical area. The Dermatology Specialty Representative will be responsible for accelerating the usage of Obagi System to meet specific objectives, while providing technical product expertise and customer training. The sales representative will also be responsible for implementation of focused sales and marketing programs in support of this objective and responsible for the sales promotion of Obagi medical products to physicians (dermatologists), key office decision makers, nurses and hospital personnel. Sales Representative, Medical Aesthetics - Sells Obagi products to physicians and physician representatives in a given territory by performing the following duties:
Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from ad inquiries, trade shows, direct mail responses, card deck leads, aged leads, bingos, dealer resellers, business directories, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
Assists physician office in growing the practice through marketing promotions and educational seminars
Overcomes technical and business objections of existing and prospective customers.
Provides product demos to qualified customers
Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained.
Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of own firm's production and delivery schedules.
Coordinates and conducts customer training.
Builds and maintains customer relationships.
Prepares reports of business transactions.
Travels to and attends trade shows.
Meets or succeeds quarterly sales goals and contests
Candidates must demonstrate exceptional selling skills and have extraordinary communication and follow-up skills. Position requires excellent time management skills, attention to detail, public speaking confidence, presentation skills, event planning skills and computer skills.
